MS Vertical Coil Wrapping Machine Description

An MS Vertical Coil Wrapping Machine is a heavy-duty industrial packaging machine manufactured with a Mild Steel (MS) structure and designed for vertical spiral wrapping of coil-shaped products such as steel coils, wire coils, cable coils, hose pipes, copper strips, and binding wire bundles. The machine wraps stretch film, HDPE film, or protective packaging material through the eye of the coil to provide secure, dustproof, moisture-resistant, and damage-free packaging during storage and transportation. It is widely used in steel plants, wire industries, cable manufacturing units, and industrial packaging applications.

Working Principle

The coil is placed vertically on powered support rollers. During operation, the rollers rotate the coil while the wrapping ring rotates around the coil carrying the stretch film roll. The film wraps spirally through the eye of the coil with adjustable overlap and tension. This process provides tight and uniform packaging that protects the product from dust, corrosion, scratches, and transit damage.
